Third Millennium Fellows
As a think-tank, TMF is comprised of a fellowship of scholars and pastors who have a sense of mission and vision for their scholarship that is consonant with that of the Institute. These persons understand the dynamic link between effective ministry and faithful theological reflection. They know that neither can be sacrificed if the Church in the 21st century is to be relevant and faithful to God’s Kingdom mission in the world today.
Because the work of scholarship is meant to feed the life of the Church-in-ministry-and-worship, Third Millennium Fellows come from both academic institutions, such as colleges/universities and seminaries, and from local churches. Scholars need pastors to keep them on task and relevant to the life of the real church as much as pastors need scholars to help them continue to plumb the depths of the faith.
